HYTOPIA is launching a new ecosystem token called $HYBUX, with plans to airdrop it to all $TOPIA holders at a 2:1 ratio. The announcement comes alongside the formation of the HY Foundation, a newly established entity based in the Cayman Islands, tasked with managing the transition and supporting ongoing platform development.
The migration includes a full token relaunch on Base, Coinbase’s Layer-2 network. The current LP staking system will be discontinued in its current form and relocated to Base. To qualify for the airdrop, holders must remove their liquidity from the existing $TOPIA pool and hold tokens in a self-custodied wallet. HYTOPIA says accrued rewards from current staking contracts will be honored.
The change marks a broader shift in HYTOPIA’s long-term strategy, aiming to streamline onboarding and support a more sustainable token economy. According to the Foundation, Base’s liquidity depth and infrastructure offer “a huge upgrade” over previous systems.

HYTOPIA’s chain-level updates follow recent growth across the platform’s creator ecosystem. The voxel-based engine supports AI-powered no-code development and live multiplayer publishing, with active titles and creator tools now live on web and desktop.
Co-founder ArkDev confirmed the new token is designed to scale with the expanding economy, saying the goal is “ecosystem enrichment, not dilution.” The team plans to share more about the snapshot, eligibility, and launch timing in the coming weeks.
