Quick Take
- Mainnet drops on Somnia Network in February
- Early Access hits Epic Games Store for PC
- SOMI token price holds at $0.18 USD
Netherak Entertainment today announced the mainnet launch for Netherak Demons on Somnia Network, scheduled for February. The top-down action RPG casts players as demons tasked with slaying humans and harvesting souls across the realms of Imuran.
The game arrives in Early Access on the Epic Games Store for Windows PC, where developers note support for blockchain, NFTs, and cryptocurrency features like an in-game marketplace for gear trading. Netherak Entertainment built the title with tactical combat, demon customization, and fear-driven progression systems.
Somnia Network powers the onchain elements as an EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain designed for high-throughput gaming applications. Netherak Demons joined Somnia’s Dream Catalyst accelerator program last April, gaining infrastructure support alongside Uprising Games to enable fully on-chain mechanics.
Developers shared a cinematic teaser today depicting shadowed demons rising amid crumbling bastions and green spectral magic, captioned by Netherak Demons as “The demons return. The reckoning draws near.” Recent activity included Discord trials and community quests positioning players for the launch.
Somnia’s SOMI token trades at $0.1878 USD, down 24.76% over the last month with a $40.76 million market cap. The February rollout could test Somnia’s scalability in live ARPG sessions, where onchain gear and cosmetics stand to drive player economies.
