Silly Kitties Heads to NomStead With a Companion Drop
NomStead said on Dec. 19 that companions are coming to the game on January 15, with a free NFT at launch. The studio also said it is teaming up with Silly Kitties, bringing the cat themed IP into NomStead as collectible companions.
NomStead framed companions as a system that will grow over time. At launch, players will be able to collect unique companions, choose one to accompany them across the world, and send them on explorations to gather items and resources. NomStead said companions will later evolve into essential partners that help players farm, explore, and battle.
Mint Details, Allowlist Access, and Supported Wallets
Silly Kitties shared companion drop details tied to NomStead’s update will be a free NFT mint with no gas needed, with limited supply, and that more information will be shared closer to launch.

- GTD WL (Discord): Open a ticket and drop an EVM wallet address. Priority goes to early roles. Wallets listed include Immutable Passport, Ronin Wallet, MetaMask, and Rabby.
NomStead also said in its Dec. 19 announcement that founders are automatically allowlisted, and the studio said a non-founder giveaway is planned ahead of the drop.
Silly Kitties Continues Its IP Push Across Web3 Gaming
Silly Kitties is currently developing CatWalk, a title centered on walking, nurturing, and caring for virtual kitties. The game ties rewards to daily activity and has been described by the team as designed for mainstream audiences.
Alongside CatWalk, Silly Kitties has been building a wider entertainment brand across animated content, music, social clips, and physical merchandise. The project is led by co founders Kittey and Cagyjan (2025 GAM3 Awards Creator of the Year), who previously said the team shifted away from an initial memecoin concept toward a longer term entertainment IP.
Kittey told W3Gamer that Silly Kitties is using game collaborations to grow the brand across platforms. “Silly Kitties is building toward becoming a global IP. Staying true to that vision, within less than a month of launch we secured our first partnership with a game,” Kittey said. “Moving forward, we will continue expanding the brand through collaborations across games, merchandise, and content in both Web2 and Web3 ecosystems.”
The team also showcased Silly Kitties at the 2025 YGG Play Summit in November, where visitors could try a physical claw machine stocked with merchandise including caps, shirts, and plushies.
What NomStead Is on Immutable zkEVM
NomStead is a farming MMO simulator built on Immutable, with a player to player economy built around building, exploring, and trading. The project positions itself as a browser based experience, with gasless transactions and wallet login through Immutable Passport.
The companion rollout adds a new collectible layer to that structure, with exploration and resource gathering set as the first companion loop.
