Developed in Unreal Engine 5, Legend of YMIR delivers a cinematic fantasy experience centered on Norse mythology. Players can choose from five unique classes: Berserker, Warlord, Skald, Völva, and Archer which each emphasize timing, control, and skill-based combat. The title blends large-scale action with a visual style designed to rival modern console releases, while still offering auto-combat options for casual play.
WEMADE confirmed that the global release includes multilingual support in English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Portuguese, Russian, and Thai. Regional servers across Asia, North America, Europe, and South America operate under a unified balance structure, allowing players to transition seamlessly between regions using a single account.
Community Ownership Through Player-Run Servers
Under the slogan “Share the Loot, Share the Glory,” WEMADE introduced the Partner’s Server system, allowing players to own and manage their own servers through an auction model. Successful bidders gain the right to host events, build communities, and share in-game revenue with their participants.
The first Partner’s Server auction, held from October 16 to 26 on WEMIX PLAY, sold out all ten available servers. The company also launched the Streamer Partner’s Server initiative, giving creators the ability to run their own game worlds, and the Streamer Supporting System (SSS), which equips them with management tools and event resources. These features create a decentralized community network where streamers, guilds, and players help shape the game’s social and economic fabric.
Esports and Competitive Systems
The game introduces large-scale Server Battles that take place biweekly, with top servers earning the right to represent their region in global competitions. Winners of these events will advance to the first YMIR Cup tournament, set for early 2026 in Hong Kong.
This competitive structure blends traditional MMORPG PvP with esports-level organization. Top-performing teams and servers receive WEMIX-based rewards alongside in-game honors, reinforcing the link between player skill and tangible economic outcomes.
Blockchain Integration and G-WEMIX Token
The game’s economy runs on the G-WEMIX token, introduced earlier this year as part of WEMADE’s expansion of blockchain-based titles. G-WEMIX operates at a fixed 1:1 ratio with the primary WEMIX token, supported by a $7.5 million reserve pool managed by the WEMIX Foundation.
Players can earn G-WEMIX through inter-server PvE activities such as the Hall of Gold dungeon, Expedition raids, and Contested Area boss battles. The token model aims to balance earning potential with stability by controlling issuance through a defined treasury mechanism.
This structure anchors the in-game economy to predictable value, ensuring that token circulation aligns with player activity and market liquidity across the wider WEMIX ecosystem.
Launch Events and Rewards
To celebrate the global rollout, WEMADE is hosting a range of launch campaigns. The Lucky Totem lottery event runs for two weeks, giving players the chance to win a 1 BTC prize by crafting or earning Totems through gameplay. Additional events include the YMIR Global Launch Airdrop and Path of the Hero, rewarding participants with NFTs and Hero-grade gear as they progress through milestones.
These promotions follow months of pre-registration and global campaigns such as the Valhalla Trials and Golden Ticket Lottery, which helped build anticipation for the release.
