Gods of Fire launch is set to captivate gamers with its action-packed multiplayer PvP gameplay. The much-anticipated launch on Steam begins with Early Access on July 19th. The game developers have created a separate Web2 version for Steam while maintaining its Web3 version on MultiversX, broadening the game’s audience.
The Steam version includes several updates and improvements, such as a distinct main menu, modifications to the Web2 player database, and a non-blockchain in-game store. Players can purchase Gold, skins, dragon packs, bundles, and GPoints packages. Notably, GPoints and Gold are newly added in-game currencies.
Gods of Fire Launch: In-Game Currencies
After the Gods of Fire launch, players can earn GPoints during gameplay by completing milestones, objectives, and playing matches. GPoints are described as a “progress-based reward” used for various in-game actions, such as upgrading dragons.
Unlike GPoints, Gold can be purchased with fiat currency or earned every 10 levels ascended, rewarding players for their successive progress. Gold will be used to unlock exclusive content. These currencies balance immediate rewards and long-term goals, delivering an immersive gaming experience.
Another feature is Dragon Diamonds, a special type of diamond that appears randomly at the start of each match in only three spots. Players possessing these Diamonds will receive an XP boost.
The map has been expanded, increasing the number of players participating in a PvP match to six. Other updates include a revamped game lobby, improved matchmaking, a ban system, balancing changes, and enhanced flight controls, targeting, and rotation mechanics. Major bugs affecting the Phantom Perk, Perks Modification, and Map have been fixed after the Gods of Fire launch.
Perks for Web3 Gods of Fire Players
Web3 players can purchase Gold with the upcoming $EGODS token. Details regarding the procedure will be communicated before the token’s launch. Players who own a dragon NFT can play up to 10 games daily instead of 5.
