The Homeland Beta has now began! During this period, players engaging in their plots will have the opportunity to earn increased rewards. These rewards stem from a mix of enhanced daily emissions, Moonfall, Moonbeam, along with additional rewards from quests and events.
The augmented reward system will be powered by the $AXS previously utilized for land staking. As the Beta phase begins, land staking rewards will cease. The total reward pool is set at 190,000 AXS per month. This adjustment is projected to decrease AXS inflation from land by around 40%.

Land owners can play Homeland using their lands instantly and is straightforward. All you have to do is install and play Homeland which can be accessed here.
For those interested in purchasing a land, they can be purchased on the Ronin Network using ETH in the Axie Infinity Marketplace. Plots currently sit at around 0.225, approximately $500 USD.
How New Players Can Play Homeland
For new players interested in joining Homeland, the process begins by downloading Homeland on Mavis Hub. Players then visit the Land Delegation Marketplace, choose a suitable contract, and apply to become a Steward. If accepted, they can commence gameplay. This process is designed to facilitate entry for new players.

The past week saw the release of details regarding the next phase of Homeland’s development, including new gameplay features set to be introduced with the Beta. These include a Land Delegation marketplace, NFT axie integration, material quality, and an updated AXS reward loop, alongside a significant graphical update to the game.
The Homeland Beta will focus on the percentage of active plots in Lunacia, termed the plot utilization ratio. This metric aims to understand the interaction between land plots and player engagement. The Beta phase introduces an enhanced reward structure to encourage diverse player participation.
Changes in the reward structure include a significant increase in the daily earning cap per plot, now 2.7 times higher than in the Pre-Beta phase. Additional earnings can be obtained through Moonfalls, Moonbeam, Quests, and Events, with 45 daily prizes available. The Moonfall reward pool has increased by 2.4 times. The difference between actual AXS earned and the daily cap on each plot will contribute to Moonbeam rewards, with the remainder supporting special events and leaderboard prizes.
Land Staking Rewards, introduced on July 1st, 2022, allowed landowners to earn AXS by staking their Land plots. This feature was a temporary measure during the alpha and pre-beta development stages of Homeland. With the shift to active gameplay rewards, a delegation system has been implemented. This system enables landowners to earn rewards by collaborating with players. The Delegation Marketplace facilitates the creation of custom delegation contracts, allowing landowners to set reward splits and manage their plots effectively.
