Basejump has launched its first public avatar mint, Solarpunks, created in collaboration with Immutable Play. The release marks the entry point to the ACTION protocol, Basejump’s AI-powered, on-chain gaming network set to go live in 2026.
Available now for $20 or through gameplay, each Solarpunk avatar comes with a stack of utility: players earn IMX Gems, daily BONES (an in-game currency), and qualify for $ACTION token allocations ahead of the public token release next year. The avatars also act as validator nodes that help secure the ACTION network.
Players can mint immediately or unlock Solarpunks through gameplay in Broadside: Battle Mode, Basejump’s first live title. The PvP brawler blends arcade mechanics with Fortnite-style gear strategy. Reaching 10,000 XP reveals a 1-of-1 Solarpunk with unique traits. The game is available via browser, Discord Activities, and soon Telegram and mobile.
The Solarpunks release also integrates real-world impact. Each mint helps protect 4 million acres of Amazon rainforest in Peru through a partnership with Rainforest Foundation US. BONES earned in-game can be spent on items that contribute directly to that conservation effort.
“Solarpunks are designed as hyperobjects—avatars that move across worlds, games, and platforms,” Matt Mason, Basejump’s co-founder and CEO told Juice Gaming News. “Every Solarpunk minted secures the network and protects millions of acres of rainforest—while also rewarding players with IMX Gems today and $ACTION airdrops in the future.”
Broadside began as an Ethereum PFP collection in 2022 and evolved into a full game community. That early traction helped shape both the Basejump platform and the ACTION engine, which will power AI-driven games, levels, and avatar behavior across the network.
Players can get started now by signing in with IMX Passport or Discord. One Solarpunk per account. BONES and IMX Gem rewards begin immediately.
