Quick Take
- Ronin allocates $50,000 in grants through the Moku Guild Boost Program.
- Funds cover purchases of cards, gems, booster boxes, and contest entries.
- Applications remain open until two weeks after Season 1 begins.
Ronin has rolled out the Moku Guild Boost Program, setting aside $50,000 to help guilds gear up for competition in Moku’s Grand Arena. This move arrives as Grand Arena Season 1 prepares to go live in early 2026, with a prize pool totaling $1 million in rewards.
Guilds can apply for these grants to acquire essential items like cards and gems, which play key roles in building competitive lineups within the game. Moku, built on the Ronin blockchain, features AI-driven battles where players use Moki NFTs to form teams. These NFTs, minted at 55 RON each in July 2024, now see floor prices around 1,065 RON ($150) on the Ronin Market, reflecting strong community interest.
The program encourages guilds with at least ten members to participate, regardless of prior experience. Successful applicants receive notifications via Discord Moku co-founder, Hantao. Ronin also announced the Ronin Forge Innovation Grant in July, a $300,000 initiative to support the next wave of breakout consumer dApps building on their network.
To apply, guild leaders submit forms detailing their plans and member counts. The budget gets distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until exhausted or the application window closes.
As Grand Arena Season 1 approaches, the grants aim to level the playing field for emerging guilds. Moku’s game combines elements of fantasy sports and automated battles, allowing players to earn royalties through Moki ownership. With over 2,658 holders and cumulative sales exceeding 19,000 NFTs, the project continues to gain traction on Ronin.
