Serum City Season 2 has arrived, bringing new features to the narrative-driven play-to-earn city builder developed by Novel Labs in collaboration with Faraway. This season introduces new buildings, gameplay mechanics, and early access to PvP mode. Players are encouraged to explore the city by engaging in activities such as farming new resources, meeting new characters, and attacking their enemies.
To begin, players need to collect a new power source in the old smuggling tunnels within Serum City. They must also collect crystals scattered across the map or stake their Season 1 Crates for crystals. These resources power the slots at the Washing Room-Mills’ latest endeavor. After every spin, players can earn various rewards, including two new currencies: Cigs and Cartel Chips, the currencies of The Clink and Pawnhouse, respectively.
Serum City Season 2 PvP
Serum City Season 2 PvP takes place in The Clink, a prisoner-run penitentiary managed by Lord Fraken Bombay, who can only be defeated at the right price. Players are paired using their ELO rating and rewarded with Trophy points called Teeth. They are challenged to win fights, collect Teeth, and earn other rewards such as Action Points, Doubloons, or Crafting Ingredients. At PawnBroker, players use Cartel Chips as their trading currency. They can exchange these Chips for new Crafting Ingredients or rare items.
Players who participated in Season 1 will receive a mix of Soul Gems, Doubloons, and Energy for conquering previously achieved levels in Season 2. Additionally, they will get a bonus for Leaderboard Tier and Blessings.
Prizes
For Serum City Season 2, the prize pool is $100,000. In addition to the first-place prize, the winner will receive car parts and fusing augments. The top 99 players will receive a prize paid in Apecoin.
