Quick Take
- Animix Snap Season 1 runs from October 7 to 21 with 17 billion $MUP in rewards
- Players can earn $MUP, USDC, and in-game prizes through ranked battles and referrals
- The play-to-earn card game blends collectible deck strategy with blockchain rewards
Animix Snap has launched Season 1, opening its first official airdrop event with a 17 billion $MUP prize pool and additional USDC rewards. Supported by the Astar Network, the play-to-earn season runs through October 21 at 6 AM UTC, giving players the chance to compete for on-chain prizes in ranked matches and through a social referral contest.
Developed by the Sophon Foundation, Animix Snap combines strategy-based card gameplay with blockchain progression and seasonal leaderboards. Players, known as Carditects, build decks of 20 cards featuring AI-generated DNA combinations with elemental powers such as Earth, Storm, and Tsunami. The gameplay centers on 1v1 zone control matches, where players battle across three areas, aiming to dominate two of them to win.
How The Airdrop Season Works
Season 1 introduces multiple reward pools, including a 17 billion $MUP Public Pool and over $1,800 in USDC bonuses tied to gameplay and community participation. Top-ranking players on the competitive leaderboard can win from the Snap Debut and Legacy Pools, while the Referral Clash event offers separate rewards for players who bring new participants into the game.

The prize system divides rewards across player tiers ranging from Platinum, Diamond, and Champion with different membership levels granting access to specific pools. VIP and VVIP members can earn extra allocations through bonus airdrops and shop revenue shares.
In the Top 50 Players pool, rewards are distributed as follows:
- Rank 1 earns 15% of the total
- Ranks 2–5 share 25%
- Ranks 6–10 share another 25%
- Ranks 11–50 share the remaining 35%
Referral Clash Event
Running alongside the season is the Referral Clash event, designed to expand Animix Snap’s player base. Participants earn points by inviting new players who complete actions such as logging in or spending the premium in-game currency, Galaxy. The top 25 referrers share a $1,150 USDC prize pool, while ranks 26 to 200 receive in-game items.

Ranked Battles And Progression
Players enter ranked battles using tickets, earning Arena Ranking Points (ARP) to climb from Wood to Champion tier. Every new season resets leaderboards to maintain balance, those above 800 ARP drop to 300, while lower-ranked players reset to zero.
Cards can be upgraded with fragments and Stardust, improving both visuals and stats. Core gameplay remains free-to-play, with nine ranked tickets available daily and extra matches unlocked through in-game purchases.
Expanding Blockchain Integration
Animix Snap operates on the Sophon Network and supports $MUP, its main utility token launched on SyncSwap DEX earlier this year. The game also uses Galaxy, a premium in-game currency that persists between seasons, providing long-term player progression.
The team said Animix Snap’s model rewards both strategy and consistency, aiming to grow its player community through transparent token distribution and referral incentives.
Accessible Across Platforms
Animix Snap can be played through web browsers, Telegram, and LINE Mini Apps, lowering entry barriers for new players. The game has attracted attention from both Web3 and traditional card game fans, offering familiar mechanics similar to Marvel Snap but tied to blockchain-based assets and real prize pools.
Season 1 concludes October 21, when all rewards will be distributed to leaderboard winners and eligible participants automatically.
