In a recent strategic partnership, Animoca Brands has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CyberConnect, one of web3’s earliest and biggest social networks. The partnership between the two giants births a decentralized social layer for Mocaverse, the NFT collection of Animoca Brands’ ecosystem. Through CyberConnect’s smart account infrastructure called CyberAccount, companies in the Animoca Brand’s ecosystem can build their own social graph and power interoperable user experiences across games, products, and services.
CyberAccount: The Revolutionary Smart Account
CyberAccount was included in CyberConnect’s recent V3 upgrade as web3’s first scalable and battle-tested ERC-4337-powered smart account. Since then, it has emerged as an industry leader in ERC-4337 account abstraction.
Animoca Brands and CyberConnect plan to create an industry model with Mocaverse’s social network that could cause a revolutionary change in building consumer products and applications. This developmental switch would provide users with a hitchless experience, permitting them to travel across their favorite applications without recreating their networks.
Unlike MetaMask which only allows developers to tap into a crypto-native user base, CyberAccounts enables developers to bootstrap their decentralized applications, import their products to the market swiftly and reach previously explored user bases.
Animoca Brands plans to increase its ecosystem adoption with this “super account” approach and empower developers with a user onboarding solution. This innovative design is the first ever to appear in web3. In the near future, Animoca Brands will integrate CyberAccount across Mocaverse, allowing users to bring their friends and loved ones to their favorite applications.
