Big Time, a multiplayer action RPG that is free-to-play has launched its highly anticipated preseason session. To participate in the preseason, players need an invite, which can come from the gaming team or a friend.
In response to the preseason launch, the team has released Patch Notes v0.28. These patch notes address various aspects of Big Time’s development, including gameplay, balance, AI, animations, VFX, levels, art, UI, performance optimizations, audio, and bug fixes.
To enhance gameplay, Big Time has introduced a craftable economy. This allows players to craft and equip Hour Glasses, which are essential for unlocking $BIGTIME drops. Players can obtain $BIGTIME Crystals and other crafting materials by completing quests and defeating enemies.
Preseason Leaderboard
A preseason leaderboard has been introduced to generate excitement among players. This leaderboard will showcase the top 5,000 players, corresponding to the available slots each month. To appear on the leaderboard, players must earn at least one point within a given month. Points can be earned through actions such as inviting friends, ranking up, crafting collectibles, and running prestige portals.
Notably, a player’s position on the leaderboard determines their reward tier. The more points accumulated, the higher the rank. There are seven reward tiers in total: Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 will accommodate 3,000, 1,500, and 400 players per month, respectively. The remaining 100 players will be distributed across Tier 4, Tier 5, Tier 6, and Tier 7.
For the preseason, Big Time has allocated 97,500,000 $BIGTIME, which will be distributed in three airdrop waves over the first three months of the event. The LIVE leaderboard will be updated daily and reset at the end of each month.
