The Alice Collective, an initiative dedicated to expanding the My Neighbor Alice universe, has announced its first partnership. A collaboration with Persona Journey will introduce Alice to Persona’s world in which retro tech and web3 converge.
Persona Journey operates as a digital collection that blends modern tech with vintage. From cassette tapes to Walkmans and Polaroids to Betamax, Persona takes old-school technology and wraps it in contemporary AI x web3 packaging. This blend of nostalgia and innovation will now be harnessed to expand the world of Alice.
My Neighbor Alice was driven to partner with Persona on account of its highly engaged community that actively welcomes collaboration. In addition to bringing My Neighbor Alice to a new audience, the collaboration will shine a spotlight on Persona Journey, encouraging more web3 natives to explore its retro collections.
The partnership will come to life directly inside My Neighbor Alice and Persona Journey in the form of an ongoing series of themed events. These will include game nights, hosted by My Neighbor Alice and Persona Journey respectively, with rewards to accompany the entertainment. A series of custom emotes will also be released exclusively in Lummelunda.
Other highlights as part of the collaboration include the release of a Prismatic Collection that will launch in Alice, complete with custom-made wearables. Livestreams, special guests, and other surprises are also lined up to mark the ongoing partnership between Alice and Persona.
My Neighbor Alice also has plans to ultimately add persona-themed tasks to its Rewards Boards, giving the community an opportunity to earn $ALICE and other unique rewards. Through completing in-game tasks, social media missions, and other gamified campaigns, participants will be eligible for airdrops and other surprises.
The partnership with Persona is the first of many such collaborations planned by The Alice Collective to bring good projects together and let communities play. Web3 projects that align with its vision and that are interested in joining the Alice universe are invited to apply for a grant and kickstart the collaborative process.
