Nine Chronicles rolled out THOR Arena Season 2 this week, resetting rankings and inviting players into fresh PvP battles. The event follows the structure of its predecessor from last month, where competitors built strategies around gear and skills to climb the leaderboard.
The reset gives everyone a clean start, allowing new players to jump in without facing entrenched advantages from prior seasons. Veterans, meanwhile, must quickly readjust their approaches in the updated environment.
A separate Infinite Tower mode complements the arena, offering an additional 100,000 NCG to the top 50 players which may appeal to those preferring solo challenges over direct confrontations.
Since its 2021 debut as an open-source RPG, Nine Chronicles has put its attention on community governance through its on-chain economy. Players can influence updates and mechanics in a world inspired by Norse mythology across Yggdrasil’s realms.
The game’s native NCG crypto token is currently trading at $0.008892. It powers in-game transactions and staking, with a wrapped version, WNCG, available on broader exchanges. The fixed reward pools in events like this often drive token activity, linking gameplay efforts to tangible value.
