PLAYA3ULL GAMES node operators are on a countdown.
The project will begin enforcing its full hardware compliance requirements, meaning any master node not meeting the required specs will be automatically disqualified from daily rewards.
With over 50% of current nodes not meeting the standard, compliant node operators are already seeing double reward distributions. According to the Web3 node hosting provider and decentralization network, NerdNode, reward disqualification equals more rewards for those who qualify.
NerdNode offers a one-click deployment system that eliminates the need for VPS setups, SSH commands, or manual software maintenance. Operators just input their license key and the system handles the rest. The company guarantees uptime and replaces missed rewards when issues arise on their end.
Why This Matters
PLAYA3ULL GAMES plans to build and launch 30 titles over the next cycle, powered by a custom node network that handles game asset ownership, item syncing, and backend data infrastructure. While gameplay servers will remain on traditional hosts like AWS, the node layer will support the core logic of player assets and on-chain syncing.
In a recent interview, PLAYA3ULL’s Chief Strategy Officer John “OLD3ULL” Bouzanquet explained that these nodes form the foundation of a community-powered future. He said the project has built communities of node owners, traders, and gamers—and that’s exactly what the 3ULL in PLAYA3ULL stands for.
Bouzanquet also shared that the company is financially positioned to support its roadmap regardless of market conditions. He said they are fully cashed up for ten years and are aiming to find two breakout hits among the thirty planned games that can become household names.
One of the most anticipated titles is Dogs of War, a moddable open-world survival game currently in development. Players will be able to run private servers, sell access, and earn from community-driven content through PLAYA3ULL’s in-game marketplace.
Node Hosting Just Got Easier
To help node owners stay compliant, NerdNode is offering three months of free hosting for all PLAYA3ULL nodes through its automated backend. The company already supports other projects, including Myria nodes, and is expanding into a broader decentralized physical infrastructure model.
Most people who own nodes aren’t Linux engineers, said the NerdNode team. Their goal is to make node hosting as easy as logging into Netflix.
With the May 15 enforcement date approaching, non-compliant nodes will begin losing rewards. Those that meet the requirements will continue receiving their full share, along with redistributed rewards from disqualified nodes.
