Just launched hours ago on the Ronin Network, Plants vs Ronke is a crypto farming game from the Ronen Mining Network. Inspired by Plants vs Undead, it blends NFT ownership, resource management, and real-time disruption into a strategic farming experience that rewards players in $PVR.

How to Buy Plants (Seed NFTs)

Seed NFTs are the core assets in Plants vs Ronke. The team launched 9,999 Seed NFTs during the initial mint, covering four elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. These plants are now only available on secondary markets.

Core Gameplay: Plant, Farm, Earning $PVR

Once you have PVR and at least one plant, you can start farming. You begin with six plots and can plant either:

• Seed NFTs, which are reusable and yield based on their stats
• Sunflower Samplings, one-time-use plants that cost 1,000 PVR and return 2,500 PVR after 72 hours

After planting, you must equip each crop with a pot and then provide it with water. When timers finish, you harvest PVR and then replant with new Sunflower Samplings or reuse your Seed NFTs with new supplies (such as fresh pots and water). Farming Items Explained

Understanding item utility is essential for efficient farming. These items are purchased with PVR and required for basic gameplay functions.

Sunflower Sampling

• Cost: 1,000 PVR
• A basic, non-NFT plant
• Harvests once after 72 hours and returns 2,500 PVR
• Cannot be reused after harvest

Sunflowers are ideal for new players looking to test the farming system without buying a full NFT. However, their one-time-use nature means they’re less efficient long-term than Seed NFTs.

These items define your farm’s efficiency. Without them, crops won’t function or will lose time and yield. Managing your item budget is key to staying profitable.

PVR Holding Requirement for Plots

Each plot requires a holding of 3,000 $PVR to be unlocked and remain functional. If your total $PVR balance drops below the required threshold after plots are unlocked and planted, those plots will become inactive. That means you won’t be able to water or maintain the plants until your wallet once again meets the minimum holding requirement.

To clarify:

• 3,000 $PVR per plot is required — both to unlock the plot and to keep the plant on that plot growing.
• If you unlock two plots (6,000 $PVR) and your balance drops below that, both plots will be affected.
• Plants on inactive plots stop progressing until your wallet balance is restored.

Example: If you’re farming with six plots, you must hold 18,000 $PVR at all times for full functionality.

This mechanic ensures active participation and ties farming efficiency directly to token holdings.

Ronke Attacks and Weather Mechanics

Ronkes are random attackers that target individual plants and pause their timers. You won’t earn any PVR from a plant under attack until you use a Jihoz Photo to scare the Ronke away.

Weather is another system that directly impacts productivity. Certain elements slow down plant growth under adverse conditions. Using a Greenhouse ensures your plants continue harvesting on schedule.

Harvesting, Replanting, and Future Features

After a plant matures, you harvest PVR and either:

• Replant the same NFT using new tools
• Use a Sunflower again
• Upgrade to a new plant

Withdrawals are live, and you can move PVR out at any time.

Future features the developers have teased include:

• Seed Drop System: New NFT seeds that drop only from in-game harvesting
• Land NFTs: Will increase your farm’s potential yield
