The reveal of the OverKnights Genesis Pilot NFT collection is scheduled for July 29 at 4 PM UTC. On that date, all mystery box NFTs will automatically update across TokenTrove and supported crypto wallets, unlocking full visuals, rarity tiers, and metadata tied to upcoming gameplay integration.
The 1,000-piece collection is structured around pre-assigned rarity tiers. Six wallets are set to receive guaranteed Legendary NFTs, while 29 will reveal Mythical. The rest of the distribution includes weighted odds for Rare and Common tiers, based on minting data recorded at the time of initial box creation.
Until the reveal, all NFTs remain sealed and tradeable. Buyers can still purchase unrevealed boxes on secondary markets, though their contents remain fixed by the original wallet allocation. This preserves the rarity distribution while enabling open trading.
Once revealed, each NFT will display a custom-designed Pilot and OverKnight character, alongside metadata needed for future OverKnights functionality. Assets will also unlock access to Founder’s Packs, which include benefits scaled to the rarity tier.
The Genesis Pilot collection serves as the first major NFT integration into OverKnights, a card-based PvP strategy game set in a customizable mech universe. Additional details on gameplay use and metadata features will follow the July 29 reveal.
What Is OverKnights?
OverKnights is a real-time, card-based PvP battler set in a stylized futuristic setting based on the Immutable chain. Matches are structured around command cards that trigger attacks, defenses, and upgrades in live duels. Each round contributes to character progression and unlocks new gear.
The game combines standard free-to-play systems with optional onchain features. NFTs such as Pilots and mechanical parts function as visual customizations and access points for gated content. OverKnights is available on both desktop and mobile, with crypto wallet support enabled but not required.
